Front bench/bed/dinette. 1973 220
I just bought the infamous 1973 Travco 220 with the modified front end and suspected Ford headlights. It is now parked at the end of my deck. I previously had an even more rare 1973 Travco built Sightseer with a 440 engine. It had the convertible passenger seat which was a bench, a bed, and a dinette. I finally figured out how to switch it back and forth but this one is different and is currently in a forward facing bench configuration with the dinette table removed. Can anybody coach me on the conversion process?

Most of them flip over from forward bench to dinette bench. Maybe there is a latch that was added? to get it to lay down usually you have to lift it until you here the click and then lay it flat.

I tried that and WD-40. Neither have worked so far. Tomorrow I will take a couple pictures and see if that is a help. The seat is in the way and I can't get the doghouse up.

My son either figured it out or or just applied sufficient muscle. It might have been the WD-40 kicking in. I can now get into my doghouse.
