Your eyes are Correct. They are 8 lug 1 ton axles so probably 16's or 16.5s. I had a few pre 74 220's and they had 7.50-16 tube.\nNice thing about the 220 is tubeless rims are a dime a dozen and you can put pretty much anything on it.

So here is an update. It was the distributor that I ordered on the Internet. Thought it was a great idea. (Will not do that again). Got the new and right one in. There was spark. It fired right up. Timing needs to be done. Help with that would be awesome. Is there an easy way to get in there close enough to do it right? I just do not have a good line of sight. Is it a good idea to change out the carburetor or just rebuild? It has a Carter carburetor in it and there is a leak on the side. I’ve been told that they are not the best carburetors and that I should put in something different. Any thoughts? Plus I pulled off those stabilizing jacks (Mark II system). I will get some pix on here this weekend. If someone needs them I’m looking to pass them on. There was also the waste dump system. Where it burns off what’s in the holding tank. Check back with you all soon. Thank you for all the help and great info.

You need a timing light to time it properly.Crank the engine over to Top dead center(There is a mark on the balancer and a pointer on the timing case cover) and point the distributor rotor as close as you can to the #1 cyl on the distributor cap while at the same time keeping the distributor roughly centered to the range it can rotate left or right. In other words when you have it pointing at #1 you should be able to rotate i about equally left or right. Try and get is started. If the distributor won't drop in all the way when you do have it lined up you may have to rotate the oil pump drive shaft or bump the motor a little. Also the distributor gear is curved so you actually have to aim it off a little as you drop it down it will turn itself. Be aware if timing is off ou can get a flash back through the carb. Once you get it running reasonably ok connect your timing light and time it. I forget which engine you have but I have the book somewhere with the timing specs.\nAs far as the carb...Read my thread on that. There is alot of info. I personally don't care for the Thermoquad but replacing is not a simple job due to vapor lock and crap ethanol gas of today.

Going back to post 1 you said the Dodge VIN was R49CA3S096382\n\n72-73 Dodge VIN decoder\nR4 = says you have the M350 chassis that Dodge redesignated to M400 in 75 and made retroactive to 73 in the 74/75 Service manual supplement. \nThat chassis is disk/drum brakes (1973-75 Dodge Class A M400/RM350 (Hydro-Vac) Motorhome Brakes). Hopefully I can find time to update the parts section for that configuration. While the MC/Booster info is different for the Hydro-Vac system, the wheel level info for the 74 and later Hydroboost based system is the same.\nLike a M300 chassis, the M400 (RM350) chassis used 17.5" 8 lug rims (NOT the 5 lug 19.5" M500 rims) \nUse the 73 wiring diagram (Electronic ignition with the old style dash).\nDodge Electronic Ignition Multipage (links) description about the design Dodge used.\n\nC = That is actually a 0 (zero) - indicates motorhome chassis\nA = indicates a 440-3\n\nDave
