well, as you can see, I had the Travco fully operational, but not finished. That was when I learned to sail and went on a 4 day trip in the Puget sound.

I was hooked, and picked up a free sailboat project. about 2k, and a year later, it is fully operational. It's winter now, and the only heated area I have to work in is my Travco. There is still insulation showing, so I am about to get a couple more mahogany panels.

My question is, what do I call the metal strips covering the roof panel joints?

Not much has been done to the Travco, it has held up nice in it's current configuration. I broke and repaired the step, and pulled the Kohler l654 genset out. the magneto isn't timed correctly, and the coolant and oil are brand new, so I have to fix what was done wrong, if I want to bother with it. I don't want to feed a 4 cylinder generator, so I got a little 950 running watt generator. I also pulled the galvanized pressure tank that was full of something not water, and reinforced the bed.

I intend to go to 2 roof hatches with 12v fans and no big thirsty a/c unit. it works fine, also has the heat function, but I want to travel light. I will go to a stainless steel closet rack, and chest underneath. When the rack is exposed, there will be a view of the ceiling from front to back, and it will feel bigger inside.

My cheap lights I bought for the shower overheat and blow out in under 10 minutes, so I have another 5m of 12v led waterproof soft white rope light on the way. I have been using a bright flashlight stragically placed, but now I'm back to fixing up the Travco. I highly recommend the rope light, it lights up the Travco thoroughly, is efficient, cheap, and holds up well to constant daily use. $11.50 will light a Travco up like never before, and very efficiently.

Please help me to name the metal strips where the inside roof panels meet.
