I have a few pics that show my awning... it has a metal cover that wraps around the material when stored. I have no idea if it's factory or not.

Well it was near 90 and humId yesterday. I think I fixed the generator.\nThe overheating and glowing exhuast was excessive fuel pressure. The fuel pump was pushing fuel past the needle seat in the carburetor. My Onan has an electric fuel pump. It is a universal one . I put a fuel pressure regulator on it and cranked it to the lowest setting and the generator runs mint. I let it run for a good hour with the a/c on full blast and the exhaust did not get excessively hot. Mine still has points. I know alot of people convert to electronic ign but I have never had a problem with the points and we have owned it since new. Also the carb is no longer leaking around the gasket.\nI could not find a spec in the service manual a out fuel pressure but it showed a vacuum operated fuel pump so i am guessing my father replaced it with an electric one. I had replaced that one about 10 yrs ago and that is when the issue started.

My Onan also has an electric fuel pump and points... I believe mine came factory that way.

\nI wouldn't even begin to know where to find one if I had to replace it... I wonder if some hoarder somewhere has a secret Travco junkyard? :D

Looked into the awning thing some more. Zipdee and I think Carefree are the only ones that make curved arms. $$$$\nA 10x10 portable tent is just fine. I can't see spending 2k on an awning .\nON a brighter note I finally got my generator squared away with some help form the pro's as Smokstak.\nI'm not retyping all this... \nhttp://www.smokstak.com/forum/showthread.php?t=120965

Having trouble with my A/C compressor on the engine. it is making a bad buzzing sound over 50 mph. I only have about 1.5 lbs of R134a in it. When I had 2 lbs it was worse. The expansion valve is new, the dryer is new(all r134a rated) and system flushed as well as oil in compressor changed to esther oil. It is one of those little Sanden compressors that someone must have swapped in. These came factory with York/techumseh compressor which are far superior to Sanden. I am wondering if the pulley size on the sanden is wrong and spinning to fast. Can anyone who has the York compressor(it's square) measure the diameter of the pulley and post it ?

I still have my factory compressor (I think it's factory). It is in the picture below with no belts on it.\nI will measure when I get home today but you can see that the pulley is almost as big as the fan clutch and power steering pulley.
