No, not mine. it runs off 110 or LP. I think some Fridges run on 12v or 110. My orignal one might have but it was missing.\nI think he meant that if the battery switch was wired so that the battery switch disengaged alt from the battery and the engine was running , the alt has no place to send the voltage so it would burn up without a load. An isolator can also do this too. It would allow both batteries to be charged independently if one was on and one was off. There are many ways to wire it depending on needs.

Oh, ok... I misunderstood what I read. I got excited for a second, thinking my fridge could work off the alternator but I knew that didn't sound right.

Well did the other window today. went much easier. I used silicone spray instead of soap. The soap dries up too quickly. I just had to clean it good before I put the sealer in. None of the local glass guys would do it. Economy must be good...they don't need the work. Just as well. I prefer to do things myself.\nThis was what I used. There were some gaps on the radius because the gasket is not preformed. I just filled the gaps with 3M sealer. Also this time rather than using a ladder, I backed my truck up to the camper and stood in the bed. Also had the space heater in the bed. It was in the low 30s and windy today. Friggin winter is NEVER gonna end..  \nI also put the first coat of paint on the cabinet frames. I left the heat on tonight inside.\nYou can see how badly cracked the old gasket was. Also the hole is cut wrong in the camper. I had to snot it up good in the upper LH corner. This Travco must have been Friday job. I see alot of hack work form the Factory.\nAlso this is the link for the gasket.\nhttp://www.trimlok.com/prod/One-Piece-Locking- ... 36_56.aspx

Backing the truck up was a good idea! I gotta remember that one. Don't worry... summer will be here before you know it. :D

Got my son helping tonight. All the cabinets are done. I will start making the new wallboard tomorrow. I have an awesome vanity that my cousin made for the 1970 220. it is made form real wood and a Corian top. I was gonna use it in here.... :x \nThe 270's Vanity looks identical to the 220 but the 270 is an inch wider. Just enough so I can't use it... :( \nhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXYKyBbj_AU&lis ... re=mh_lolz

well got the fridge in today,. What a PIA. The vent pipe for the bathroom hit the cooling unit on the back so I had to pull it back out and deflect the vent pipe with some 45's.\nAlso started running the propane line over. You have to use copper rated for gas. I used refrigeration grade which is rated for NG and LPG.

Now all of a sudden the furnace won't kick on...wtf? The blower sonds really slow. Turns out the batt was dead. But why ? I am plugged in ??\nThe Power Convertor is not doing it's job. Problem is I think I have it wired wrong. I thing the big lug on it that I tied into the Travco's 12v distribution panel is actually only a 3 amp charger line for the batt and that all the circuits in the Travco have to be wired to the Convertors internal fuse block. That will require a major rewire. I may just cut the Convertor out of my 1970. it's a progressive Dynamic but the problem is it is a 1970 Convertor and I do not believe it provides "filtered" power and I am not sure if that will be an issue with the newer Appliances I have added such as the Fridge and Water Heater both of which have circuit boards.\nI am not sure what to do...\nThe Convertor I am using right now came out of an 80's Sunline Travel Trailer. I could not find a Manual for it anywhere on line and in fact found many people online looking for the same thing.Parralex took them over. I may give them a call Monday but I am pretty sure that is what I did and why it's not doing it's job.

If anyone has the wiring schematic for a 270 I could use it.
