I also did a good cleaning on the rig. The fiberglass is oxidized pretty bad and cracked so i tried meguiars oxidation scrub. Its pretty much just a soap you scrub the outside with and it worked pretty well. I knew it wouldn't help the cracks but the outside actually has a shine to it now.

I bought some new mirrors. It took a lot of internet research to find the right part numbers for original replacements so i thought i would share them with yall. They also have a white painted version and a heated version.

True, It looks like travcos came with several mirror options, the cool corner mounted ones like yours and the standard delivery van ones like mine.

I knocked out a few more projects this weekend. Patched a big hole in the black water tank with fiberglass, Installed my mirrors, Bought new generator battery and coach battery, Got the generator running for the first time and tuned it. Of course when i fix one thing i find something else to add to the project list but thats how it goes.
I had some good help form Bluford getting the mirrors adjusted.

I built some new tables this weekend from maple plywood. Was a pretty inexpensive project. My original tables were water damaged badly.

Ive also been working on getting the water system operational which has been 1 step forward 3 steps back. So far ive rebuilt al the faucets. Found 3 disconnected water lines by flooding the bathroom. Just broke the shower mixing valve when i tried to test it. Oh well, home depot loves me.

A couple posts ago you were discussing toe-in. Found this in my Motor Manual from the era. 1/16" toe-in on the Dodge M300-600 Chassis. For the M300-500 it shows Caster +5 and Camber +2, and for the M600 Caster +6.41 and camber +1. I assume those are all non-adjustable except for the toe-in, but I don't know. Hope that helps. 1/16" is a bit different than 1/4".

Thank you for the info! i will get it aligned professionally in a few months. I think my caster is off. I shimmed the caster and it helped but i have no clue what im at spec wise. I will readjust the toe and do a test drive, that should help alot.

Too much toe in on alignment can make a vehicle wander. Older bias ply tires squirmed around more than the newer truck radials.
