71 Travco 270 M 300 Shift Cable

MY little bus sat for 6 years and the shift cable rusted!! I had to cut it off to be able to move it out of the building. (1) Does anyone know where I can get a new one? (2) which is the best way to replace the cable behind the dash? Many thanks ahead of time.
