Pictures of The Aftermath

Unread post by slickandrewstravco » Tue Apr 15, 2014 12:14 pm

If I can figure it out, I'll post some pictures of what I got left to work with.\nSomehow, I hafta go through a whole rigamarole to post pictures here... I still haven't mastered it.\n\nAmazingly, there was very minimal damage under the dash.. Just 2 ducts were melted!\n\nThere's a ton of Halon dust on everything forward of the galley.\nThe carpet in the cockpit is gonna have to be replaced at some point, but the main thing is gonna be ALL of the engine related wiring.\n\nAnybody have a decent 440 harness laying around?\n\nWow.\n\nCheers to all,\nSlick

Not sure what trouble with the pics. If you want email them to me and I will post them but you should be able to do it yourself.

I know where there are some motorhomes in a yard, but getting out there & tearing one out is the big question

AFAIK the harnesses are all the same from 318 to 440. Any Travco one should work or be close enough.

Going to check out a '78 Foretravel 35' soon. Running, driving, got broke into and trashed inside. It's in a dry, nice spot and can buy for $400-500. Got a 440...

Get the rims off that Southwind...They look in the pics to be the coveted 19.5 tubeless.

\n\nSharp eyes!.. I didn't catch that when I viewed these pics a few days ago. If they are 5 hole, those rims are VERY desirable.
