GM HEI Distributor for Big Block Mopar
Saw this at the Auto Parts Swap meet last weekend. Not a bad price. The Chrysler Ignition systems suck at best. I wonder how this works ? That price warrants a try...

I actually have an HEI distributor from a 454 in my garage right now. I doubt that it will it drop right in... right? Hmmm... I will have to look into that as a future option.

It will not work as a drop in. And the factory setup in the Post-points era was actually far superior then all other domestic manufacturers. \n\nIf you want to upgrade for a smaller cost, go with a Petronix setup.

Just a note: the HEI Distributor won't work, but the coil, module and wire combined with a Chrysler Electronic Distributor will. I have a similar set up on my other car (with a Slant 6, but can be done with a V8 equally as well). Works great!
