Working in the cold is definitely no fun. My brother-in-law once built a "tent" out of roll plastic over a car I was working on. Then he loaned me his jet engine style kerosene heater and pointed it under the tent. Worked great and I was able to get the transmission put back in my Jeep completely comfortable. :)

Good, hope it is correct and no modifications to threads will be necessary.\nAs with almost all, I assume it it is a reman unit?\n\nCheck with Geoff (Alretta) for a rebuild kit for the old m/cyl.\nI prefer to rebuild the original than buy reman.

It was new not reman but looked NOS. It looks right. I just gotta measure the bore when I get the old off to confirm.

\nI agree. I feel the same way an Alretta is not far from me besides. I will put his website in the Links page.

\n\nGeoff charges, but he knows exactly what he is selling and its application.\nThere are only so many components and only so many answers to a Travco brake problem.\n\nPeople don't like to spend on what they can't see, which I don't understand. Brakes are the first thing, on any vehicle, that get proper attention and whatever is needed to make them right. There are no shortcuts with brakes.\n\nI assume you meant water line break. Cold, sucks (literally sucks at your boots), miserable. \n2 days of water breaks will pay for any Travco brake parts yours may need.

\n100% right. A Travco 270 is 14,000 lbs rolling down the road....They barely stop when the brakes are 100%.
