If I remember I'll try to take a pic of mine. I think there is something gerry rigged to the arm itself to take up the gap.

A couple pics of the $7 brake light switch in place. A couple washers and a striker made out of stainless sheet. The plug for the harness fits perfectly.\n\nImage\n\nImage

Way cheaper... Even if you have to replace it every few years.

Well it has been 2 years and the cheaper switch is still working flawlessly.
