I get the Dip-sh#t of the year award.\n\nIndeed 77- A very large "L" was stamped on the lugs on the left side of the rig Doh!.\n\nI still can't get them off though. I am getting an extension for my bud Socket wrench today to get a better angle and try that slick jackstand trick to keep the bar flat. I will let y'all know.\n\nAttached is my spare rim I sprayed cream color rustoleum (original color) turned out great.\n\nRobC\n\n

\nWheel looks good! Hey, at least you figured out the left hand thread thing before you broke something. :D \nMy coach is even more confusing... my LR and RF wheels have the left hand thread studs... so I guess someone inadvertently swapped something around in the past.

Probably mixed up the drums during a brake job. Personally I always thought that reverse thread thing is pointless.

Seemed to be a Mopar thing. I am surprised to find it as late as a 77 model.

Finally got the stones/courage to fully lean on the cheater bar and BAM! the lugs released It was very loud) The studs are all going to need to be cleaned and greased but I am psyched I got them to move.\n\nMy left side are lefty threads and my right side are all righty threads. \n\nWhen I asked my brake guy how to change the tires when I first bought it he said:\n\n"Call roadside assistance"\n\nI can see why. It's a big job just to get even one of the duals off.\n\nI am buying three Toyo tires from Les Schwab so I might have them come and pull them off.\n\nRobC

Got my new rubber on and powder coated rims ($80 each) so the beast has new shoes baby!\n\nLooking for chrome hub and lug covers\n\nAny body know the dimensions of the 5 bolt patern off hand. The ford 5 bolt seems to be pretty popular but they call out a 4.5 inch bolt pattern (measured from the center of one bolt hole to the OUTSIDE of the one two away)\n\nI will measure this afternoon but any body with a link to chrome jewelry that fits these rigs let me know.\n\nRobC

Bet those powdered rims are really slick...\nMaybe a pinstripe/s and chrome nut covers?\nSure would hate to cover the powder coating up... \nanyhow...\nI use "simulators" that are for the 19.5 rims and are the easiest way out for some fast "bling".\nHTH..\nBBB
