Axle nut is 2 7/8ths correct?

Unread post by Zed » Mon Dec 26, 2016 3:07 pm

Can someone confirm that the axle nut is 2 7/8ths before I order a socket? I measured it and thats what it looks like but I want to be sure. Also does anyone know where to get replacements for these? My old ones are ok but have chisel shelfs on them. Somehow one of the nuts locked up even though we had it off a month ago, it won't budge with a chisel now. I think I'd rather get the right tool and replace the chewed up old ones.
