Generator control location

Unread post by FSJNut » Mon Feb 25, 2013 10:24 pm

I would think that Travco's had a way to start/stop the generator without going to the generator itself.\nIf mine had one, it doesn't seem to now. :? \nAny ideas on where the remote is usually located? Was there a standard control used?

Mine has a 2nd control panel for the generator above the drivers left side window.

Thanks for the suggestions. Gave me the confidence to look a little harder. Finally found it, still connected, behind the drivers side sun visor in the storage compartment.\nAlso explains another mystery. What that large gaping hole is above the rear view mirror. ;)

I bet it worked its way loose and was rattling. Someone probably "re-located" it on the road and never fixed it later.

My gen monitoring is above the drivers seat on the left. I also have a gaping hole above the windshield but no sign of a control box. Looks like I will have to fabricate one.
