Refinishing a worn out shower stall

Unread post by gojoe » Thu Jul 19, 2018 9:48 am

Have cleaned up the old shower stall pretty well and removed most of the crummy resin repair done to the pan. I need to paint this thing. I've seen the fiberglass reglazing products by rustoleum and others. They are not recommended for wall refinishing. Has anyone had success with this or something else?

Did you get anything figured out? I had a shower repair guy come out and repair a fiberglass shower stall in our home a few years ago. Talking with the guy he used single stage urethane automotive paint. I was surprised to hear that. Come to think of it, it has been over ten years and it is still holding up... Let me know what info you come up with as mine is going to need the same before its usable. Thanks.
