Floor Hole Behind Genset?
Hey, guys, I notice I have a large opening to the ground, just aft of my genset - like maybe 12" x 24" or so. I'm assuming that's NOT by design, but maybe something a PO cut out(?) Do you guys have an opening back there? If so, is it for exhaust, or what? Thanks!

You might want to add a pic of your gen set compartment, as they are bit different between years and models. My 71 270 has a pretty open floor in the compartment due to rusting of thin sheet metal, and mine has lived in SoCal it's entire life!

A large rectangular hole is by design. The original Onan blower vents out that hole. Not sure about 12x24 though. That sounds a little too big.

Here's a picture of my generator compartment. See the rectangle hole near the rear of the genset? Is that what you are talking about?
