Re: one long trip and a few campgrounds
I forgot to add all the fun I had with Nessie on the trip.\n\nNessie made it home after a long week. Over 1800 miles traveled.\nOil leak Fixed in NC on day one. Vapor locked carb climbing Fancy Gap in Virginia also on Day one. Bypassed leaking heater core on Day 2. 3 nights camping in Ohio. Day four on the Ohio turnpike 10 miles running at almost 35 MPH due to a clogged fuel filter. Got off exit and changed filter. Heavy rain and stopped traffic on the Indiana toll road and had to skip the stop at the MH/RV Hall of fame. 2 nights in St Joe Michigan. Saw a 270 at what appeared to be a Truck repair shop on M63 Between Coloma rd and Saint Joseph. Day 7 on the way home, Brakes went spongy, Low fluid in the reservoir for the rear brakes. Checked for leaks and found none. refilled reservoir and took it easy. 1 night in Kentucky. Day 8, generator wont stay running. 95 degrees and cant keep the air running. Stop and go traffic in Nashville and Atlanta. Made it home about an hour behind schedule so not bad.
