For Sale: 1964 Dodge Travco 290 – Good condition. 340(?) Dodge engine, runs good (could use carburetor tune up). Original PUSH-BUTTON transmission. I drove it from Oregon to Washington to Montana (which is where it is currently located). Exterior is in good condition. Interior remodel started. Both AC and DC electrical lighting and outlets replaced, AC with LEDs. Plumbing partially redone. Emergency brake recently reconditioned. Can be driven or towed. It has a tow hitch on the front. More photos on request. Great start for someone wanting to customize a very cool vehicle. Buyer to arrange for transport from western Montana. Please see the auction on ebay at:\nhttp://

jrsdoc\n\nNice Travco there. It looks to be a 270 though. Anything longer than the 270 has a squared off back. The engine, unless it was replaced should be the Poly 318. Great strong motor If it was replaced any small block Mopar engine will fit.

The title lists it as 28 ft. Bumper to bumper it measures 29 ft. I assumed that means it is a 290. Is that a wrong assumption?

It should be a 270. The 290 didn't start production until the 70's.

I believe they go by the length of the body for the model designation. My 76 Mahal has an extended front bumper that would have originally held a tool box. Option like this changed the length bumper to bumper. The Mahal is considered a 27'. Bumper to bumper mine also measure 29'.
