Nice pleasing looking unit... \nToo bad it came up about 2 months too late...(For me)\nDont have storage room for 2.. \nCould use almost all the parts... More tempting if the tires were good...\nand the right size...(5 bolt x 19.5) Utuber says 6 lug wheels? Then there's the rest...\nMight be a tiny bit off...but...in the realm of it possibly being a 1974 \nwith a bogus 1976 title and made to look like a 1976?... Reason for the\nstatetement is there is a 1976 being sold on JAX and it sure looks\nto me with those raised headlights etc. to be in the 60's but then again \nwhat does an old timer like me know about these things. \nDo a visual yourself... \nI rest my case and commments about these things.\nBBB

HHHmmm earlier post wouldnt let me "edit" my post , so here is an uptake.\nI viewed the U-Tube and found an ordinary Travco to be interesting AND unusual....\nBTW... I did rip the U-tube for future references...\nThe bathroom area is unusual as I have never seen that configuration before... \nKind of nice if not different and odd... Fridge on the "left" and nice upper oven..\nMoving to the front, I noticed that the dash panel is a 1974 or earlier with the shifter on the right as in the 1974 & down.. 1975 & up are on the left side...The dash installed into this 1976 which AFAIK came from the factory with the circular gauges. (I have both) The gauge placement (4 of them ala 1974) is aso unusual... and finally the overhead compartment is similar to my 1974... Not my 1976...\nAir horn was an option as is the large roof storage compartent... \nNo ladder, screen door or 5 lug 19.5 wheels No outside spare carrier.... (Owner says 6 bolt?) \nSure looks like a keeper for someone (Wish it was me)\nBBB

Oh yea BBB... You have a point.\n\nIt has the low front headlights like a 76 model would have. I am willing to bet that if they looked behind those wheel covers, they would see 5 lug wheels. I think those two 6 hole spares in the closet are from an older coach and the previous owner didn't catch the difference. Maybe someone swapped in older dash parts in the past?

My 1974 has the same front end as yours. Different paint that is ugly, but paint don't make it go...and no center grill bar/bars but basically the same. The chrome rings about the amber lights the PO removed probably because of rusting..I have the extra grill bars but this time I will use a different style grill. Will post a pic of it once I have made a decision... BTW... my mirror posts are square denoting a 1974. I have the round ones like yours and what is shown on the Detroit 1976... My mirrors are from my 76 which are larger than the factory installed 1974 mirrors. Saving the round posts for later..\nMoving on to another way to determine if its a 1976 is in the design of the genset door. Mine is square,(1974) and your's has a curve at the upper left corner (1976)... I think I have a piece of that curve from mine... I went over the pics a few times and do not see a genset compartment at all... wonder why, as he states the unit inside the coach is his genset and doesnt have spark...a few tips on determing a model year..Waiting for your further comments that I add to my experiences... Never stop learning... FWIW\nSure wish there were more pics of the bathroom. Medicing cabinet, sink, shower hose all are more clues..\nI am deciding on the 76 medicine cabinet for mine (4 lites)..., the 74 sink has a seperate back splash etc....\nBBB

Yea, that is odd there is no generator access door. Maybe they made that particular coach with no generator for some reason?\nCould be that the owner simply misquoted the year model and it's really a 74... Did any 1974 models come with 6 hole wheels?

believe Acesneights would know more about the lug patterns for various years and tire sizes... \nAs a lot of wheels were covered that I have viewed and snagged the pics of various models including Travco non-diesel pushers..., \nI never really gave the amount of lugs a thought. All of mine had/have the 19.5 and 5 lugs including my 74...w/disc & drom brakes...\nBBB \nPlanning maybe on a $50.00? rustoleum paint job as snagged on utube for future ideas... sure think of dumb ideas waiting for spring to arrive... I'm in a hurry... 4quarts from SWP were over 90.00 each (ouch) and now I am changing my mind.\nAlso as shown my unit is stored on gravel and pulling my tank is not an option...
