Hello

Unread post by travcojim » Wed Jan 23, 2013 5:46 pm

Hello, owner of a 67 270 here. Have owned for a number of years, before that I had a 71 with the 413. My 67 has a 440, It is resting as of now until I find new rims. I have the 16 inch, 6 lug split ring rims currently and want to replace with one piece rims before hitting the road out west in the next few years.

Welcome Jim !!\nThat rig looks awesome. There is a guy here in Ct selling one for 300$. it's rough but restorable.\nDefinitely start your own thread on your restoration. I am going to try and get as much up to date tech info stickys as I can. \nWhat an awesome looking Dodge.

I don't have enough to do to start a thread, but I am going to install some solar and a few upgrades on the interior, I will keep a running log of everything. Biggest problem now is rims, If I come across a good source I will let everyone know just in case there are other rigs out there in need of them.\n Some interior pics:

That is cool. I saw some 19.5 rims on Ebay not too long ago. don't know if they are still there.\nThink I'm gonna add a Wanted to buy section so maybe we can post up stuff we need..

I have seen a lot of 19.5 but not many in 6 lugs, mostly they are 5 lug rims. I may end up changing out hubs and going with 5 lug rims. It may be cheaper in the long run than trying to search out 6 lug rims.
