1974 270 owner

Unread post by Roadrash » Sun Jan 27, 2013 11:15 pm

I'd like to introduce myself here. I've owned a 1974 Travco 270 for about 2 years and have done a lot of mechanical work on the thing. It was purchased in Toronto, Canada and then driven across Canada to Vancouver for our maiden voyage. We had a few minor mechaicals, mostly related to a clogged fuel filter and air in the brake system. Since then I've completely redone the brakes and done a lot to the electrical system. Our second trip was through Death Valley, Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon. We had a few more mechancals (ignition related to an MSD box install by the previous owner, started relay, and a tire blow out on the rear).\n\nI absolutely love working on and driving my Travco and look forward to many years of family vacations in the thing.\n\nI tried to upload a picture for my Avatar but is comes back with the message that my picture is too big. How do I do this?

Your maiden voyage and mine sound very similar!\nAs far as pics go... You need to resize it to something smaller. Just open the picture with some form of editor such as microsoft office, etc and resize it to something like 640x480. My avitar pic is 250x188.\nLooking forward to your Pics!
