\nHello!\nMy name is Mike Barnett, and I live in Jonesboro, Arkansas.\nGlad to see there's this Travco forum.\nI got the RV fever a couple of years ago. Being a lifelong Mopar fan, I wanted something older with a Dodge chassis.\nI started looking and researching, that's when I discovered the Travco. The hunt was on!\nWe looked in the local area, to no avail, and I ended up buying a 1971 Concord. It was a pile. Pulled the engine from the Concord, and sold the body to a man who has it by the Current River in Pocahontas, Arkansas. However, as a result of buying parts for the Concord, I found out about a Travco that was for sale.\nI made a deal for a 1973 270, and the person I purchased it from told me of a derelict Travco with salvageable parts. Ended up buying it, also, now there are two "gracing" my back yard.\nIt's in pretty good shape for a 1973, although exterior is a bit rough. It was originally green with a white stripe, but painted maroon/tan in the 1990s. I plan to go back to original colors.\n 6,000 watt Onan generator. Dual roof air. Cargo carrier. 70-gallon fuel tank. Built in vacuum cleaner system. All appliances intact but have yet to test any of it, other than the generator.\nWondered if any other Travco owners are close? We are 70 miles northwest of Memphis, Tennessee.\nLooking forward to posting pictures of progress. \nThank you. Mike
