Hello Folks,\nThanks for adding me to your group. I live in the small village of Berrien Springs, Michigan, about 25 miles north of Notre Dame University. I say that because just about everyone has heard of ND but hardly any has heard of Berrien Springs.
I do not own a motorhome, but if I were to have one it most likely be a Travco. My wife and I are planning in a few years to begin the adventure of full-time RVing. I don't know if a Travco would be comfortable for living full-time. I am searching for people that are actually doing it. If you do, please reply to this post. I am the moderator of the Facebook group Vintage Motorhomes. I welcome everyone on this site to request to join. My kids are grown, no pets to care of, just my wife and self living in a large home. We need to downsize. I am planning our escape soon. I love to camp, but my wife is not a camper. We have camped many times in a tent, but have recently moved-up to a pop-up trailer. My wife has this thing about bathrooms at campgrounds. I cannot blame her. I figure if I want to camp more then we need a RV with a bathroom. That's about it for now. Thanks!

Welcome. From time\nTo time we get some nice ones in the classifieds here. Seen a few. As far as full time ,\nI would love to but do bear in mind that as most Travcos are hitting the 40 year mark(some have past it)\nParts and on road break downs are always a consideration. If you work on stuff yourself not too bad ..sad to say we are getting as old as these unit but keeping them alive is well worth it.

Welcome, You are the 100th member here!\nMe and my wife plan to do alot of traveling in our Travco 270. We believe it's the perfect size for 2 people. As was said above... These coaches are pretty old by todays standards and will need some upkeep to stay on the road. Read through some of our old threads to get ideas of what we mean.
