Hi everyone,
My family and I own a 1982 320 model, and are in love with it. I flew out to Seattle from Billings, MT, purchased it, and drove it home to WY where my family loaded it up, and traveled to MI and back. Talk about trial by fire. That was 2 years ago.
Since then, we have taken it on short trips within about two hours: until now. In a couple weeks we will make the round trip to MI again, about 1,200 ish miles one way. Wish us luck!

Welcome to the forum. We have Nessie a 76 Mahal 2+2. Back in 2016 we took her from GA to Cleveland OH then over to St Joseph MI and back to GA. It was an eventful trip. Having tools and some spare parts makes good sense. We usually keep it with in 5 to 7 hours drive otherwise. She sat last year due to some health issues I was having but soon to be back on the road.
