1972 Travco 270, Rear Dinette (KY, all over)

Hi All!\n\nI am the proud new owner of a Travco. I've been dreaming of one of these for many years and finally built up the courage and fortitude to take one on. My friends and I were split on naming it Mildred or Murtle, but we went with Murtle, like a turtle.\n\nThe beauty (much irony here) runs and drives but needs significant exterior maintenance and refinishing, as they all do.\nI look forward to posting pictures and contributing what I can. I love the idea of private messages and would even be willing to contribute to external mail configurations if that's a popular idea.\n\nI'm a vintage design freak and tech nerd so super excited to own one of these monsters!\nThat being said, I think these vehicles are suited to be social monsters and I'm wanting to find out what kind of meet ups or sites are popular for the more fragile RVs.\n\nI used to have a 1969 VW Westfalia which was a beauty and we utilized the AirCooled Emergency support system a decent amount.
