Are you talking about the wiper motor shaft?

A photo of the offending piece or part would be helpful.\nTo still use the unit, switch wiper motor assemblies.\nThey are both the same. Install repaired unit in passenger side.

Hhhhmm... "in the old days"...When I used to attatch gas tanks to "chopper" style MC's ..to bolt the peanut tank to the frame I used a high silver alloy hi-strength brazing rod... You could pick up the bike w/motor in the frame by the one brazed bolt. This stuff flows like your a professional brazer/welder and extreme heat like steel rod gas welding/brazing with a coat hanger is not requred. If you have the broke end, I would try it unless it is of some none brazeable material...especially if the motor itself is in good stead. Wiper Model changes thru the years???. Wiper motors might be year/model specific?\nMy wipers are (1976) & (1974) with two individual seperate motors. Both the same and can be used on either side. If you do locate a unit it might not work for your model. I have two seperate wiper switches on the dash... Is yours like a car with one variable speed switch ? NFO line needs to be fixed.\nBBB

Really don't think I have any room to braze the end back on. It broke off flush with the threaded end. And i have good brazing rod. I only have one switch to start the wipers. But they aren't connected together. 2 separate motors are yours separate ?

I started to take it apart maybe that's why it looked like it might be a single motor. Anyone have a picture of their wiper motor or have on for sale? May I can knock it apart and do something with it, but I'd rather buy something.

I have 2 switches,dont know what I was thinking. Those are the same as mine,no change that I can see. I sure could use one or just parts parts if motor is bad.
