URGENT. Leaking windows!
75 Travco 270. Sliding windows are leaking water into the RV. Have standing water on the counter and under the electrical center.\n\nWHY.\n\nSeems that the aluminum channels are filling up and dumping into the interior.\n\nHELP.\n\n2 inches more rain on the way tonight.

Re: URGENT. Leaking windows!
There are small holes in the slides on the outside to let the water drain. If they are stopped up with debris they will leak inside.

Yes.. Yes there is. Found em and cleaned em. Also turning the Travco around helped also. We got 6+ inches of rain here. New record. Mayor called it "The 100 year rain.".

Re: URGENT. Leaking windows!
They are a lousy desing. Most important things to do are keep the drain holes clean(I drilled mine bigger) and make sure the Travco is parked level when it's raining. I eventually wanna toss all the windows and get ones that screw to the camper like the newer RV's have. They are much better.\nRain gutters over the windows help too.

I have the same issue. I need to drill the drain holes bigger and am considering gutters above the windows.

Re: URGENT. Leaking windows!
I have made a mental note to always park the Travco with the nose HIGHER than the rear. That was the drains will function properly.\n\nAdding gutters would help tons also. I really need to update my windows and seals... \n\nMaybe this fall.
