Have Another Avco (1971 grand lodge)
Hi All,\nwe just purchased a 1971 Dodge Avco Grand Lodge, so far as I have been able to find ours is not that popular? \n\nWill post all the before interior shots soon but here are the exteriors\n\n

They have the same driveline AFAIK as Travco.

Yeah my mechanic said we have a 360 straight 8 but through reading I had expected that we had a 440\n\nI crawled around under it all day yesterday removing all the old tanks, and found a lot less rust than I expected for a 45 year old chassis!

I like it! I think it's a "there just aren't that many of them" thing. \nIt will have a V-8 engine... probably a 413 cubic inch, a 727 tranny and a Spicer/Dana HD70 rear axle. I also believe that it has drum front brakes.

Pretty great find during demolition!\n\noriginal user manual for the M300 and M375 Chrysler (dodge) Chassis\n\n\n
