I didn't realize that it was steel. Surely they used a window from another application. They don't look entirely dissimilar to a travette.
And you're right about fiberglass motorhomes. None of the yards around here will take ANYTHING with fiberglass... and that includes insulation. I remember hearing a guy a couple years ago at the height of scrap prices say he took an old motorhome in but he didn't tear it down first. Gave him just over a hundred bucks because of the non-scrapable.
Fiberglass is the hardest stuff to get rid of. Bought a boat trailer that came with a huge fiberglass boat. I just wanted the trailer. There was no way to dispose of it. The ONLY recommendation was to cut it into trashbag sized pieces and put it in the dump. I did finally manage to give it away.
