Alternator Travco 270 440

Unread post by Acesneights » Fri Apr 25, 2014 7:40 am

It is not listed that I could find but after looking at some books I came up with NAPA 2132010 which was from a 1975 W300 440ci. It is a 65 amp single groove 7/16 belt pulley. It fit perfect and the new pulley is Cast not stamped which also cured my belt squeal. The pulleys are not easily changed on these. They are pressed on which requires alt dis-assembly in case you come across a double groove one. They are the same except for that.

Dodge Travco 270 Front Brake Pads M500

Unread post by Acesneights » Fri Apr 25, 2014 7:45 am

The front pads for the Travco 270 are NAPA TS-7020M. To my knowledge NAPA is the only one still making them and who's knows for how much longer. They are only about 25$ and special order so...I'm just sayin...I'd have a spare set on the shelf...\nThe originals were riveted. The new ones are bonded which does not make me all warm and fuzzy but it's all that I could find. Also re glue the rattle pads on the back of them. I had one fall off and work it's way out. The original glue looked like it had dried up from age.

Trico part number is 64-200. Just picked up a set at a local truck parts store. They also had the right fuel filter and belts in stock.
