19.5", 5-lug Alcoa rims
Would love to put a full set on my Travco, or something similar, but I don't think these 5-lugs are on any manufacturer's radar these days. Any info/words/advice?

Welcome !!!\nUnfortunatley the only advice I can give you is...Good Luck. About the only way one comes across rims these days is the sacrifice of another Travco. I plan someday on upgrading my axles to something out of maybe an F550 as brake parts are getting scarce as well and I would love 6 wheel disc.

Yeah, custom is a way to go but the cost may outweigh the benefit. For what 6 rims will cost it may be better to convert to newer axles...of course which ones. I know of no one that has tried it yet but I plan to when I exhaust mine. The brakes in these things are not that great(especially the older ones with front wheel drum). One of these days I'm gonna spend a day at the junkyard and see what other types of axles could be substituted without a major effort. Michelin still makes the 17.5 tube type AFAIK. I bought them a few years back for my 73 270. Nothing wrong with tube tires as long as they are not dry rotted. The split rims are a bit more difficult and costly to have tires changed but not the wort thing in the world. The heavy truck tire shop near me does them for about 30$ a wheel if you buy the tires from them. Not terrible. I used to do them myself when I had access to a cage but age and wisdom got the better of me...

I did put some "Wanted" threads up in some Mopar car sites. The Alcoa numbers pertaining to the 5-lug Budds are 763220 (unpolished), 763221 (inside polished), 763222 (outside polished), and 763223 (both sides polished)

Re: 19.5", 5-lug Alcoa rims
Ok guys, so here is what I have found on the available 19.5" rims with the 5 on 8" to replace my 17". There are Dodge MH's of the mid 70's on the M500 chassis that have 19.5 rims with the 5 on 8" bolt pattern. Have seen but missed several sets sold for between $65 to $100 per rim. but they were sold before I got to them. Also found a couple of cheaper 70's Dodge MH's on various sale boards and could see the 5 lug pattern on them. They are also used on the large Ford grain trucks of the late 40's to '60's and our Dodge wheels are popular choices for them as replacements for their split rims. I am going to keep trolling the old Ford boards and the MH salvage yards for as many as I can find.

There are a ton of RV salvage yards in Indiana and Arizona. Some old Winnebagos also were M500.

I've posted the Alcoa part # off mine, but misplaced the sheet they where on, had wheels off last year for brake work not removing anytime soon to get the #s.

In a local online auction there is a set of 6 rims. They are Alcoa 19.5 X 6 - 15 DC five hole. Part No. 763221. These rims are brand new in the box still in the plastic.
