Does anyone have a part number for the Brake light switch or a part number that will work?\n\nThanks Paul

I bet it is the same part that a same year Dodge truck or van would use. Chrysler was good about that kind of stuff.

Looked the truck and van switch up and it looks very different. I need one with a threaded mount and preferably semi-sealed as it is located in the wheel well above the booster.

Post a good picture of it. Worst case scenario you can always retro fit a universal one but lemme see what you have. I am good at searching weird discontinued stuff. I forget where mine is. Think it's underneath.

Mine is in two pieces... I ordered a cheap threaded shaft style switch that was used in the full size mopars. The switch is on top of the brake booster in the wheel well. When the other switch gets here it will go in just to get the brake lights to work instead of staying on all the time. I am going to pull the broken switch to get a closer look. I will take a picture or two on and off the vehicle.\n\nThe one I ordered is just like the napa part. I am uploading the pictures off of my camera now so pics will be here as soon as I can photobucket them and link.

Some pictures before and after removal. The bracket is threaded for the switch and it uses one lock nut. I believe this switch is a good deal larger in diameter than the one I ordered. Time to start the part number cross reference search. \n\n\nImage\nImage\n\nImage

I have just put in a couple places for a quote on the switch. It may be available as military surplus. It appears to have been used on aircrafrt refueling trucks.

Found one on ebay for 99 bucks plus shipping. Ebay poland had one for 12 but the auction had ended. I think I will wait for the quotes to come back.

Just for info the Mopar part # is 2824550. I am hoping to source some and if I do I may try to grab as many as possible.
