A 210 is what I really want. The more I've thought about it, it seems kind of silly to buy anything other than what I really want.

Looks to be a 220 rather than a 210.

If it has a flat back like a 290 or 320, it's a 220... \nA rounded back like a 270, its a 210.. FWIW\nBBB

skirts?... hhmmm actually "they" are all included in the one piece side panel. Must be a 60's model and am presuming as I have no pic of this select unit. As it is fiberglass, a possibility is to cut out the wheel well and glass in the lip to make it look as if it was a factory design like the later models. I am kind of contemplating on making skirts for my 74-270... Already did a mod on a side pic and looks decent... No, turnpike cruiser skirts were NOT available for the Travco..
FWIW...\nBBB

I meant I like the 210, the one the guy has is a 220. I had considered the same thing before. 220's aren't too hard to find, but those 210s seem to be, though I've seen more for sale recently than I have in a while. I just always seem to be late to call.

I personally would like to have the square back like on the 290's,... on my 270! The curved roof might be more popular than the 290's and 220's but... I bet a dollar (usd funds) it was due to pricing and the cost was reflected in materials used etc..., not styling or practicality. I have redone the rears (interior) on the 270's and they are a PITA... Also you lose head height, curtain hanging and other floor plan modifying options... as a further constraint, the minor additional length of a 290 or longer to get the square look could present problems at various locations and parking for me. I again would have liked to see a 250 (25 ft) like the 220. But that is another "dream machine" for me..I have driven 90 foot triples in OH, IN. & IL w/500 hp Macks and 110k gross weight.... so length is not the problem with me but not having air-brakes IS a problem......The "ideal" (Swapping rears) is not feasible or affordable ? to do that type of "swap" but I might do it on a test photo..Really you should go and actually put yourself into a 220, and then, (or vice-versa) into a 210. All being equal, price, condition etc. etc. then come to your own conclusion... viewpoint might change a tad...FWIW, IMO & VIEWPOINT...\nI know... too much NFO...

The rounded rear end and body style is what attracted me to Travco's in the 1st place. The loss of head room is not a big deal if you have the bedroom back there.
