Ok folks, a small .....very small nucleus (two of us) will be meeting at Fredricksburg Texas near the municipal airport, A large VW Bug In is happening the same weekend just around the corner. I know this is short notice but the date is April 19, 20 and 21st. If your in the greater Texas Area, let us know and we'll leave the light on.

If any other Travco fans are interested.. Me and TexasTravco77 plan to meet up at this event. Here is a link... \n\nhttp://www.texasvwclassic.com/\n\nI am not a VW person or anything... but I did entertain the idea of a camper van at one time. Should be fun for my kiddos. :D

We had a great weekend in Frederickburg, Texas at the VW show. Unfortainately TexasTravco77 had some technical difficulties and was unable to bring his Travco out. There's always next year!\nI was surprised at the amount of people that stopped to take pictures of the Travco. One guy remarked "You just don't see these anymore" while others simply asked "What is it?" because they had never seen one. Most just pointed it out as they drove or walked past. \n\nHere is a picture of me and TexasTravco77 in front of my coach. I'm the well dressed individual on the left... :)

When the forum grows a little more I'd love to put together a Travstock like Mytravco.com used to.

Pretty cool.\n\nIt's funny, since I've been looking at motorhomes, it's amazing how many I notice now... when I've largely ignored them before. There's a mobile traveler that's been sitting unused for several years now. Before I barely gave it notice... now I'm admiring the lines. :D
