Yes, I am pretty sure they did. I will verify in the morning.

Not sure why I read 72 rather than 74 last night (old eyes maybe?)\n\nHere is the 73 wiring diagram that still routes main power through the ammeter.\n\nHere is the 74/75 wiring diagram where they no longer route the main power through the ammeter.

Ok, this morning it cranked right up, but stalled out. We are chewing through old gas. It will still turn over, so the intermittent electrical issue is working on our side for the moment. I have posted photos of all the plug connection I found. I do not think any of them are the plug that was pointed out. Anything look familur in my photos?

Referring to the 73 Wiring Diagram (old dash with electronic ignition)\n\nIgnition switch connector at base of steering column\nImage\n\nRed wire connector = S1-10RE Fusible link to Ammeter\nBlack wire connector = A20A10BK wire from Ammeter\nImage\n\nI think this is the "Yellow Mold" connector that has the neutral safety and rear lights on it\nImage\n\nHopefully this electronic ignition information will help you get it running (does not apply to points)\nDodge Electronic Ignition\n\nDave

Just a quick update. It turns out the diaphragm in the Holley carb was perforated. Sadly a rebuild kit was not available in a reasonable amount of time. So we purchased a new edelbrock carb that is being installed. Hopefully this will get us home. I will keep you all posted.

Your going to have vapor lock issues with it so don't shut it off unless you have a little time to let it cool down. Also make sure they put the proper dodge linkage kit on it(edelbrock no longer makes chrysler specific carbs, just an adapter kit for the universal carb) The kickdown lever also affects shift points. Use a carbon fiber spacer between the carb and intake for now and then start scrounging ebay (or you could go new) for an aluminum intake or you will have endless vapor lock with the crap ethanol gas.\n\nhttp://www.travcoforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=152

\n\n4th pic down is the plug IIRC. It's the red wire that burns up I think. Been awhile since I had to fix one.

Dang... gone 2 days and I missed all of this. Hopefully the OP will post up weather or not they made it home.\nMultimeters are helpful but a straight up old fashioned 12 volt test light is an invaluable tool in these situations.

Just another update. We are back on the road with a lighter wallet and a stronger engine! I'll make I full intro post when we make it back to Chattanooga, TN. Thanks to everyone for the advice and help, it was very beneficial!
