8/27/2015\n\nHere are the part numbers for the Chrysler Co. 727 and 904 transmission shift shaft seal and kickdown seal that wear out on the transmissions.\n\n
MAIN OIL SEAL PART NUMBERS: $2.29 at my local NAPA in stock.\nATP TO-15\nTIMKEN 8609\nNATIONAL 8609\nBIG A ML50\nNAPA 14582\nPIONEER 759037 \n\nInner THROTTLE LINKAGE/KICKDOWN SHAFT SEAL: $1.99 at my local NAPA in stock.\nATP TO-29\nBIG A RP52\nNAPA 13308\nCHRYSLER 2466548\nBRYCO 33084\nPTC OR35\n\nTook me a while to track these down this morning. Hopefully others can use this info. Was able to pick up BOTH seals at the local NAPA for under 5 bux this morning.\n\nThese are the pesky seals that go around the main gear selector shaft on the transmissions. If you haven't replaced yours yet, I would check for leaks.\n\nI also ordered a special tool that pulls them from the TOP. Otherwise, people with cars, are dropping the pan, the valvebody, park pawl linkage and pushing the seal UP and out. Our Travcos have TONS of room ABOVE the seal, so I imagine carefully prying the old ones out will be easier. Will try tonight. Scoring the shaft or trans case is the major pitfall.\n\nThe failing seal located on the shift shaft. Both the 904 and 727 use the same seals. 1966 to 2006?? Other Chrysler transmissions use the same part numbers also.\n

\n\nHere is a picture of a "Kit" on aBay for 25 bux. \n

\n\nPic of the puller I ordered but probably don't really need.\n
