Edisto Beach State Park

Unread post by KB2CRK » Wed Nov 11, 2015 3:22 pm

Great quiet campground. We stayed in the Live oaks campground. The park also has a beach campground. Live oaks had plenty of foliage and some privacy in most of its sites. We did take a look at the beach side but it was more packed in and a lot less privacy. It was also limited to 30 amp electric service where the live oaks section was mostly 50 amp sites.\n Image\nView out the back window\nImage\nSnug fit backing in but plenty of room once in\nImage\nImage\nImage\nImage\nImage

Is your pickup truck a standard? Why not just tow it 4 down? Very cool pics,,, thanks for posting!

The old Dodge is a standard but I do not have a tow bar and I do have the dolly. We usually pull the wife's Kia Sorento but due to me having the engine out of our daughters car for work and the fact she can't drive a stick, She had the Sorento at school with her Leaving us with the truck and a standard trans Subaru. With only the dolly the truck was the easier route as the Subaru can only be towed 4 down or 4 up with the all wheel drive. Looking into a tow bar option as the Kia may be getting traded in on a new Standard drive Subaru in the next year.

Back here again. Ran into another Travco here. Luxagraf with his 69 and the family. He is full timing in it now. His Travco is looking great.

Home again. Never enough time to enjoy camping. Still an awesome campground.
