Replaced my front brake flex lines today! You should too!
Just finished up replacing my front flex lines this evening. Pretty sure the ones that were on there were originals from 1975 as the hard lines were original and got replaced also. Picked up a roll of 3/32 brake line, new fittings and 2 large bottles of fluid.\n\nIf you have never replaced the lines, do it! They are pretty cheap on eBay. On my motorcycle, they require all of flex lines be replaced every 2 years..
\n\nNow to convince the wife to help me bleed these tomorrow AM...\n\n

Here is what I ordered and will fit..\n\nHowever... I would suggest going to the next longest length on Daves page of brake parts. http://dave78chieftain.com/M500_73-75-RM400.html There was an 18 inch option and a 21 inch option. It looks like my original lines are the 18 inch ones. The 15s will work, but I would be more comfortable with 18s on my rig.\n\n\nDorman H26913 Flex line 15 inches long. Ordered on eBay. Shipped from California.\n\n\n
